This was a second-chance romance, set in a tropical location. It was a quick read, and if I'd have had a clear schedule when I picked it up, I could have read it in a single sitting. Lovestruck was light-hearted, sexy and heavy on the comedy.Ruby and Will went to college together, where they became close but never bridged the gap from friends to anything more, though the feelings were there. A misunderstanding drives them apart, and five years later they see each other again for the first time at the wedding of mutual friends. It just so happens it's a destination wedding, and Will is the owner of the resort. The spark is still there, and it isn't long before their flirtatious banter turns into action on that attraction simmering between them. After clearing the air of the past, it is unfortunate that they don't learn from their mistakes because more misunderstandings get in their way before they finally lay it all on the line for love.
Lovestruck was a lot of fun, filled with some awkwardly cute and nerdy comedy. It was pretty steamy, but there weren't a lot of swoony, romantic type moments. All in all, though, I enjoyed this book-it was cute, charming and funny. This is my first time reading Lila Monroe's work, I enjoyed it, and I would read her again.

I pleasantly enjoy this book . The Love story between Will and Ruby is not overworked. Includes the HEA we all want with mix adventures , sexual tense , excitement , and final act of LOVE , besides all misunderstandings . I'm really loving this author.
Lila Monroe continues to delight her readers with the hilariously stunning Lovestruck. This book is everything we have come to expect from Lila and then some. It grabs the readers right from the start with it's incredible storyline, witty banter, a swoon worthy hero, and strong independent heroine.
Ruby walked away from her college crush after a rather embarrassing event several years ago. So as she dashes off to catch her plane the last person she expected to run into is her long last crush. He still takes her breath away, but the pain is still there.
Will is on his way to his resort to attend to his friend's wedding while attending to business at the same time. To his surprise he runs into his long lost friend, one that he's missed and wants to reconnect with.
The connection between the two is undeniable. The sparks that fly are intense and electrifying not just those around then but to the reader as well. But just as this couple is getting hot and heavy a misunderstanding threatens to break them apart. Will they be able to work through their issues to continue their newfound relationship? Or will this be an issue that breaks them irrevocably?
I seriously can't get enough from Lila Monroe. Her writing style is fun and engaging, captivating the reader from cover to cover. Lovestruck is hot, flirty, scintillating, and dazzling. The dynamic between Ruby and Will is mesmerizing and their passion is off the charts. They give as good as they get and boy do they know how to heat things up.
I adored every minute of Lovestruck and can't recommend it enough. It will have to laughing out loud, crying, falling in love, and leave you satisfied and smiling in the end. This is one book you will be happy to stay up all night to finish despite having to get up early the next day.
Very slick, fun and highly romantic read. Perfect destination wedding and straight to the heart for two star crossed lovers. Perfect read for romantics at heart
I thought this book was very well written, the story was good, the characters likable, and fun. I would recommend this book.
This is another book in the series that you really don't need to read any of the previous books (other than Ruby is book 2's Jake's step sister), but you should because each book is a fantastic Rom-com of fun, independent, strong women developing relationships with fantastic (& hot) guys. I love Ruby and her nerdy Star Trek loving self. Following her and Will's attempts to reconnect is equal parts humour and steamy with just the right amount of drama. The only thing I miss is getting Will's viewpoint too (like book 1 & 2 did), but it wasn't necessary and would have revealed certain things a little too soon. Looking forward to reading the next book.
This book was funny and sexy. I would definitely recommend it to everyone who loves a good romantic comedy. I will always read any rom/com book Lila Monroe writes and you should too.💝

I enjoyed parts of the story. Good I didn’t see near as many errors as in the previous two books I read. Not so good The h wasn’t much of a best friend since she was too busy being self centered to help her bestie when it was obvious she needed it. Another not so good how the leads acted like teenagers at times. The college problem was kind of understandable since she was young enough to still be immature and overly sensitive. But five years later He should have acted better instead of pulling the same type of misunderstanding. Especially since he was a big shot resort owner that should be mature enough to handle anything. That was a bit ridiculous. And why, since he didn’t think of her that way in college, was he cyberstalking her at times? And suddenly realizing there was more to it when he sees her again? Huh uh.
Unfortunately, this story didn’t have as much humor as the others, so it couldn’t help gloss over not so good parts. I did enjoy these stories well enough, though, that I was willing to overlook some issues. The problem for me now is that I’m no longer willing to pay the overpriced cost for a just okay book. Actually, though, if each book had gotten even slightly better over the previous one I might continue, but it didn’t happen. If they were available thru kindle unlimited, sure I’d read more. If they were .99 each I’d at least a few more. But I’m not going to pay any more the outrageous amount asked. There are way too many less greedy authors out there with way better books.
